Banners

Banners are one of the most versatile and cost effective advertising and display products. Finished with Eyelits and ropes, you can just about hang them anywhere you require. The most common banner material is reinforced PVC because it is cost effective and tough. PVC banner can be displayed using a number of techniques including velcro, hanging or stretching over a fabricated wooden frame. We produce printed banners on rolls up to a whopping 5m wide (the widest print width in New Zealand), reducing the need for welds or joins. Banners are well suited for both indoor and outdoor use. We have a variety of different banner materials including environmentally friendly options.

 

FINISHING
In most cases, your banner will need some form of finishing. To protect it's edges and reduce curl we hem the edges, a technique where the edge is folded back on itself and sewn or glued into place. Dowel pockets can be either taped, welded or sewn at the top and/or bottom for easy hanging. Eyelets can be added along the outer edges to fix it with bungee, rope or cable ties. Ropes can be sewn in to the edges to assist with strength and also provide extra hanging options. Velcro dots can be positioned on the rear for fixing directly to display panels.

 

Types of banner material:

 

PVC BANNER
We offer reinforced PVC banner/ scrim banner options like smooth surface banner with minimal edge curl, block-out banner so light does not shine through, heavy weight banner for tough conditions and backlit banner for use in Illuminated signs.

 

MESH BANNER
Mesh banner is a light weight vinyl coated scrimmed material. It allows air to flow through and is semi-transparent. There is hole size choice to suit your application, speaker mesh has larger holes than standard mesh.

 

FABRIC BANNER
We have many fabrics available up to 5m wide rolls. Fabrics (soft signage) provide a softer texture and a more upmarket finish compared to PVC banners and are much lighter and easier to transport.

 

PAPER BANNER
We have a range of synthetic papers available. They are the ideal paper for a smooth finish and they hang straight with minimal curl.
