Stand Back!

Posted by Scott on 17 December 2010

This ranger can do what no other ranger can. Stand still on the spot 24/7. These images are of signs recently installed at Franz Josef Glacier to keep it's visitors informed and safe. The signs and lifesize cutout are manufactured to withstand the demanding environment. Myriorama

Posted by Scott on 17 December 2010

We like a good challenge, and this one is no exception. The very clever Bruce Edgar came to us with a project he was working on for local Christchurch artist Julia Morison. The piece was to be exhibited at the Sydney Biennale 2010. The catch was it involved a massive amount of panels, intricate detail and it had to be accurate. After a series of tests we were ready to print. It was displayed in the Sydney Opera House... see details below.

Airbridge Action

Posted by Scott on 14 December 2010

Christchurch International Airport have been giving the interior of it's international airbridges a big injection of life. Each airbridge has an individual theme including some spectacular photography by John Doogan with art direction by Strategy Design. The visual imaging is further enhanced by audio effects associated to the scenes. These are high quality murals and a sight to be seen. On recent flights I have been on, it's been great to overhear positive feedback from impressed passengers as they walk through them, obviously they have worked a treat. We are currently working on a 75m long Panorama of McKenzie Country due to be completed before the end of January. Finished so far are, Antarctica with penguins, West Coast native forest (above), Abel Tasman (below), and the Waimakariri River.
