We are pleased to announce new additions to our recycling systems. We are always looking to improve our impact on the environment and be more responsible in the way we operate. We have put in place two new systems which have had a huge impact on the quanity of waste we send to the landfill. We've been looking for a partner here in Christchurch for 3 years to recycle our PVC banner and Yupo offcuts. Thanks to Aarque Graphics and BJ Ball Papers, it's now possible. Any of the banners and posters we produce for you using Yupo or Starflex can be returned to us for recycling too. These two new additions add to our existing cardboard, paper, waste solvent and coreflute recycling.

Yupo Recycling Programme.
Yupo paper is a category 5 polypropylene (PP) plastic film and is 100% recyclable. All offcuts and returned printing is collected from us on an as needed basis. The waste is collected from BJ Ball Papers and recycled locally in New Zealand to manufacture a large range of re-consituted plastic resins and moulding powders.

Using Yupo and being part of this programme ensures a reduced reliance on virgin raw materials as well as reduced waste to landfill.

Star Flex Recycling Programme.
Star Flex have created a banner material called Discovery. This material is produced using old banner material on the backside of the media. Because Star Flex Discover is made of 50% recycled PVC banners, it reduces the virgin PVC content. All offcuts and returned PVC banners are collected from us on an as needed basis. The material is compacted by BJ Ball and returned to Star Flex for manufacturing.

Being part of the Star Flex recycling programme ensures a reduced reliance on virgin raw materials as well as reduced waste to landfill.
