How we supported Essential Services during lockdown

We were fortunate to be in a position to produce signage and print to help keep the public and staff of Essential Services safe during the COVID-19 lockdown. We worked mostly remotely at the time, needing only minimal staff on site to produce the work, peaking at two staff. That gave us confidence we had the best possible health and safety provisions in place for our team.

What we produced

We printed corflute signs, posters, and floor decals for safe distancing, which were a particularly popular item at the time.

FAQs

What is corflute and why is it used for signage like this?
Corflute is a lightweight, durable corrugated plastic material, easy to print on and cut to shape, which made it a practical choice for producing safety and directional signage quickly during lockdown.

What are floor decals made from and how are they applied?
Floor decals are typically made from a printed vinyl material with a slip-resistant or laminate finish, designed to be applied directly to floors and withstand regular foot traffic while remaining clearly visible.

Can posters and floor decals be produced for other safety or wayfinding purposes beyond COVID-19 signage?
Yes, the same products, corflute signs, posters and floor decals, are commonly used more broadly for wayfinding, health and safety notices, and directional guidance in retail, workplace and public settings.
