Legends Banners and a Kids' Castle for Canterbury Rugby

Canterbury legends
Check out this case study for Canterbury Rugby Football Union. The work was completed at AMI Stadium (please confirm current venue naming and status before publishing, see flag above). We were asked to come up with fantastic solutions for legends banners, some good names to remember, and to work on the new Take A Kid To Footy castle.
The project
Client: Canterbury Rugby Football Union
Event: Canterbury Crusaders rugby home games
The castle sits at the front entrance, creating a fun experience from the point of entry for Take A Kid To Footy family fans. The double sided banners celebrate and recognise the many great players the Crusaders have had over the years.
What we did: We supplied digitally printed ACM panels and fitted them to the castle framing, and supplied and fitted double sided banners into specially made metal frames.
What they said
"I've worked with Adgraphix for almost a decade now, so when it came to creating the new Crusaders Take A Kid To Footy Castle and our Crusader Legends Banners, I knew they were the best guys for the job. Working with our engineering partner, Adgraphix came up with a great solution for the castle to ensure the external elements of the castle, and the banners themselves, not only looked good but were practical. Adgraphix are always great to work with, they think outside the square to find solutions that meet your, often challenging, brief, and always deliver on time. When you find a great supplier, you hold on to them, I have used Adgraphix in every organisation I've worked for and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others."

FAQs
What is ACM and why is it used for stadium or venue signage?
ACM (aluminium composite material) is a durable, lightweight panel material commonly used for signage that needs to withstand outdoor conditions and repeated public contact, such as at a sports venue.
Can signage be designed to work with existing structural framing?
Yes, signage and graphic panels can be designed and fitted to integrate with existing or purpose-built framing, such as fitting ACM panels to a castle structure.
What are double sided banners used for at sports venues?
Double sided banners allow branding or imagery to be visible from both directions, useful for banners displayed in walkways or open areas at a stadium where fans approach from multiple angles.
This is a look back at a past project. The stadium referenced has since changed name and the Crusaders have moved to a new venue, please contact us for further details.
