Soft signage, Dye sub
Dye sub is a process for dying fabric. Dye sub differs from our other techniques where we print directly onto fabric with standard ink types. To perform dye sub, there are two methods that can be used. Transfer and direct.
Direct printing, Digital screen printing
Flatbed printing is the term used for digital printers that image directly to a large variety of substrates using UV curable ink. Materials are placed on a vacuum bed and imaged from above. UV curable ink is very versatile and cures by a chemical process when exposed to UV light. Flatbed printing offers stunning resolution and UV resistance for non-fade longevity. This technology allows us to print directly to standard substrates up to 50mm thick, such as Corflute, foam PVC, polystyrene, cardboard and paper in quantities from one unit to hundreds with competitive pricing.
Profile cutting is the term used for cutting substrates to a shape. They can be three dimensional objects such as logo elements out of thick materials or hanging retail props cut out of thin card. Our digital cutting table is a great match for digital print. It opens the door for more creativity beyond the graphic layout. Products like life size cut-outs are handled easily by a digital cutter. Panels with straight edges are cut perfectly every time. For odd shapes our advanced software saves time and money. Instantly, we can multi up large quantities of images on a page to maximise yield from a sheet. Bleeds can be automatically added where the file has none.
A machine configured with white ink can print onto a range of substrates unacheivable with standard printing systems. If you have a coloured paper or substrate and do not print a base layer of white, the colour of the substrate will show through. On a black surface the image would be near invisible. On clear sufaces the image would look transparent. We eliminate these issues using white ink.

This is a high resolution UV Flatbed printer producing stunning quality images for close up viewing. Great for interior or exterior display work and illuminated signage because of its high quality output. The 660XT is configured with white ink for dark and clear substrates. Printing UV curable ink is better for the environment. It emits only low levels of VOC's and has minimal waste ink during maintenance. Printing direct also reduces media waste as it eliminates the need for a film to be printed then applied to the rigid surface.
Max print size: 2500mm wide x 3000mm, Sheet fed.
Applications include: POS, backlits, interior design, displays, posters and materials such as foam PVC, ACM, paper, wood, glass, corflute and polystyrene.

Barbieri Spectro LFP RT
Spectrophotometer for accurate colour management. This device reads colour swatches to build an accurate model of all achievable colour for that printer. We build and maintain profiles for our media in-house. This means we can accurately predict what colours we will get from any given printer before your job is run. This spectrophotometer does transmissive readings for accurate colour reproduction in back-lit graphics.
Software and workflow solutions for large format digital print. We utilise Onyx products to maximise our workflow and create a stable colour controlled environment. All printed output is processed and managed by the latest version of their cutting edge Thrive software.
